Crafty Afternoon

Today it was a bit rainy and glumly. So I decided to get crafty :)! I went to the dollar tree today and picked up a few things I ended up buying 4 packs of flower petals. But the neat things about them is that they're SOAP! Yep, you heard me...soap. 

All I did was sort of separate them a bit and make them a little wider. I just used a tiny amount of hot glue on the bottom of the petal and glued it to the poster board. I had ore cut random sized pieces of the poster board ahead of time. 

Here's the finished product. It turned out so beautiful. And because its soap, it smells delish too! 

Around the house

Well Justin finally got a new bike seat. He's gonna ride it to work and save some gas. Plus get some great exerts ice as well!! As much as he walks you wouldn't think this would be tough in his legs....but they were killing him. 

Then I decided to hang outside for a bit with Mya.

She's such a stinker. If I would play fetch with her 24/7 I still don't think that would be enough. But we've had a pretty great day. Nothing special, but the little moments are what I adore most.

NEW: Dark Plum Hair

So I got a little bored of the light brown hair. I decided to dye it a deep plum color.

I ended up using 2 boxes of L'oreal Cherry Chocolate hair dye

Then I put about 1 teaspoon in each bottle of NRage (Purple Plum)

I let it sit for about 13-14 minutes. And only washed it out in VERY COLD water. Hot water rinses all the color out. I didn't shampoo, just conditioned. I use a color protective Shampoo & Conditioner by Paul Mitchell.

It actually hasn't faded any. Once a week I mix the NRage in some of my conditioner. About half of a teaspoon & mix well. I let it sit for maybe 5 minutes. While I shave or wash my face. Then rinse out with luke warm water. It's stayed extremely bright. It's been about 3 weeks since I've had this. Im so in love with this Plum color for fall :)
